I live by a simple philosophy: The world has two types of people; The Prada and The Nada.
The divide is quiet clear, Prada is classy, honest and successful. The Nada is the person who thinks they Prada but has no class and is usually a big mouth with an ignorant view of the world. For some reason lately I’ve been coming across a lot of Nadas and very few Pradas.
Why has it become normal for people to behave badly in public? Since when is it acceptable for people to be racist, sexist and generally ill-mannered? What happened to acceptance, freedom of opinion and humanity? Why do some people get away with spreading hate speech and spewing rubbish? When did the people around me become one of those ignorant people who only listen to part of a story and then spread it like wild fire without verifying the information first? Would it kill people to Google the full story before they blindly broadcast messages that have the potential to destroy people’s businesses, lives and reputations? Basically, when did so many people go from being Prada to being cheap knock off Nadas pretending to be Prada?
Gay. Straight. Muslim. Jew. Christian. Atheist. Buddhist. Hindu. Black. White. Indian.
Why do we use our religions and races divide us? Why are we using our different beliefs to tear each other down instead of using them to build each other up? Why can’t we coexist? Why do some people feel the need to label and ostracize anyone who doesn’t fit in their box. Why have we allowed society to turn us into the people of the boxes? Would you leave a Prada handbag in a box in the back of your cupboard? Or would you use it? That’s what I thought. You would use it. So why do we then, choose to silently observe people acting ignorantly instead of educating them.
To be Prada you need more than name, fame and money. You need character, poise and most importantly quality. Prada is not a silent observer. Prada is the outfit not the accessory. Prada stands out and grabs attention.
So which is it going to be?
Prada or Nada?

Broke Bella
